» How do I sign up for an Nymgo Messenger account
Opening an account on Nymgo Messenger is free and is done through Nymgo Messenger website. Visit www.nymgo.com and select "New User Sign Up", and then follow all the registration steps. After completing registration, download and install Nymgo Messenger. The username and password created during registration are used to login to Nymgo Messenger and buy credits.

» How do I install Nymgo Messenger
After completing the download of Nymgo Messenger, an icon will appear in the folder you chose to download Nymgo Messenger to, double click on the icon to start the installation process. Follow all the steps as they appear. The installation will only take few minutes

» What are the system requirements to run Nymgo Messenger
Below are the minimum hardware and software requirements to use Nymgo Messenger on your PC: Processor: Pentium III or faster Memory: 128 MB or better Operating System: Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista Connection type: wired or wireless broadband or dial-up internet connection, DSL Sound Card: 16 bit sound card Color setting: 16 bit (high color) Microphone and Speaker, and headset recommended.

» How do I recharge my Nymgo account
You can recharge your account through online purchase of Nymgo credit.

» How to make a call using Nymgo?
To make a call using Nymgo please follow the below steps:
   1.  Login to Nymgo softphone using your username and password chosen during Registration.
   2.  The dial pad will open,
   3.  Enter the phone number you wish to call. You can enter the number by clicking on the dialer
        numbers one by one, or entering the entire number in the provided "dialing box".
   4.  The number should be entered using one of the below formats:
       a.  "00" + Country Code + phone number. Example 0012124442222. OR,
       b.  "011" + Country Code + phone number. Example 011971501113333. OR,
       c.  "+" then Country Code + phone number. Example +15143332222. The "+" is not available as
            a button on Nymgo Softphone, please use the Keyboard "+" sign if you prefer to use this
            dialing format.
   5.  Click on the "Green phone" button.


» Can I call all numbers in all countries

» How can I check my account balance
Login in to Nymgo Messenger and your balance will be shown directly

» How long can I use my credit to make calls
If you bought Nymgo Messenger pay as you go credits you would be charged for calls as you go, and will be able to use Nymgo Messenger as long as you have credits in your account. In other word there is no expiry date for your credits in your account.

» Do the same call charges apply no matter which country I am calling from
The prices are the same regardless of the country you are calling from. The prices are based on the country you are calling to. For example, if the price to call USA is 2c/minute, you will be charged 2c whether you are calling from the USA, France or any other country. » How do I compose an SMS message
To send an SMS, click on the "SMS" button on Nymgo dialer. A new window will open where you can write the text and choose the recipients of the SMS. When done you simply click on "Send".

» What is the limit of an SMS message
The limit of an English SMS is 160 characters. For the Arabic SMS the limit is 69 characters.

» Can I use special characters in my SMS
Yes, you may use special characters; however the limit of the SMS would decrease to 70 characters per SMS.

» Can I send SMS in Any language I like
Yes if it is Latin characters you will have 160 characters, other than that it will be 70 characters

» What are the terms of service of Nymgo Messenger

» Why do I get charged additional $1?
This is an authorization charge from Google. It will be added back to your account within 1-14 business days.

Below is what Google says:

You may also notice a $1.00 transaction from Google, which is actually a pending authorization request between our billing system and the bank that issued your credit or debit card, so you won't end up paying the extra $1.00.

When you check your bank account or credit card statement, payment authorizations are often listed as "pending." These transactions might remain in your account between 1-14 business days, depending on your card-issuing bank. Please keep in mind they are authorization requests only, not actual charges.

Authorizations can remain in your account anywhere from 24 hours up to 14 business days, depending on the bank. You may contact your bank to confirm the charge for your purchase with Google or to check on the authorization status.


» Where are Nymgo packages?
Nymgo is currently not offering any packages. Please stay tuned for new Pay As You Go rates and offers.

» Can I use my SIP device with Nymgo?
Yes, you may connect your SIP device to Nymgo. Use the below to configure your SIP device:

SIP Server Or SIP Proxy Server: ata.nymgo.com
SIP User ID: nymgo username
Authenticate ID: nymgo username
SIP password: nymgo password
SIP Port: 5060
Codec Used: g729
STUN Server: stun.nymgo.com
STUN port: 80


» Do you have Nymgo software that is compatible with mobile phone?
Nymgo could be used on all mobiles that have SIP settings example NOKIA N series and E series.

» Can I buy with PayPal account from your website?
Currently you can purchase through one of the payment gateways Money Bookers, and Google Checkout.
We accept payments in Euro, United State Dollars, and British Pounds. New payment options might be added very soon including new currencies.


» Can I pay in cash because I do not have a credit card?
In case you do not have a credit card and would like to purchase from Nymgo, please send us an email at support@nymgo.com
and we will provide you with alternative payment methods.


» What are the Codecs supported by Nymgo?
Nymgo supports codecs G729 and G711.
Please note that you do not need to do any modifications to your Nymgo account and/or softphone settings to use these Codecs.


» Does my Nymgo credit expire?
All accounts expire within 3 months in case of inactivity. To keep your account active you need only make one call, send SMS, perform Calling Credit Transfer, or make a payment. In case an account is inactive for over 3 months the account will expire and any remaining balance will be removed.

» How to delete the numbers that are saved in the dial box drop down menu?
To delete the telephone numbers that are stored in the dialing box drop down menu, right click on the dial box and then select "Remove all entries". A confirmation box will appear, click on "yes".

» How can I contact Nymgo support?
You may communicate with Nymgo support team via email by sending to support@nymgo.com any suggestion or comment.

You should receive a reply within a maximum of 24 hours. Please always provide your Nymgo username to shorten the response time.

Please add support@nymgo.com to your address book so that emails from Nymgo are delivered to your inbox and are not placed in your junk or spam folders.


» What is Call credit transfer?
Call Credit transfer allows you to share your credits with your friends and family. You send them calling credits and they can start making calls directly.
You may transfer credits to any Nymgo user if you have made a successful payment within the current month.
Users who have received credits, and or failed to make a successful payment within the current month are not allowed to transfer Nymgo calling credits to other accounts.
