Can I delete my Nymgo account
There is no delete function for Nymgo user accounts, however, all accounts expire after 3 Months of total inactivity.
Can I send SMS in any desired language ?
Yes, if the text is written in Latin characters, you can write up to 160 characters. Otherwise, it can drop to 70 characters per SMS.
Can I use special characters in my SMS?
Yes, you may use special characters; however the size limit of the SMS would decrease to a maximum of 70 characters.
Can sub-accounts purchase or transfer funds?
All business sub-accounts are restricted from making any purchases or transferring any credits.
Do my Nymgo account expire?
All accounts expire after 3 months of inactivity. To keep your account active, you only need to make either one call, send an SMS, perform a Calling Credit Transfer or purchase. In case your account expires, any remaining balance is removed.
Do my Nymgo credits expire?
As long as the account remains active, the credits do not expire.
Do the same call charges apply no matter which country I am calling from?
The prices are the same regardless of the country you are calling from. The rates are based on the country you are calling to. For example, if the price to call the USA is 2¢ per minute, you will be charged 2¢ whether you are calling from the USA, France or any other country. 1. Login to the Nymgo website using your Nymgo username and password.

3. Enter your mobile number and click on send.
4. You will receive an activation code on your the mobile number you have entered.
5. Enter the activation code and click on submit.

How to make a call using Nymgo?
To make a call using Nymgo, please follow these steps:
1. Login to the Nymgo softphone using your Nymgo username and password. The softphone is available for download at: http://www.nymgo.com/EN/download/
2. The dial pad will open.
3. Enter the phone number you wish to dial.
4. The number should be typed using one of the below formats:
a. "00" + Country Code + phone number. Example 0012124442222. OR,
b. "011" + Country Code + phone number. Example 011971501113333. OR,
c. "+" then Country Code + phone number. Example +15143332222. Please use the Keyboard for the "+" sign.
5. Click on the "Green phone" button.

How can I use the Nymgo PC dialer in the UAE?
To use the Nymgo PC dialer, please follow these steps:
1. Click on the following link: http://download.cnet.com/Nymgo/3000-2349_4-10909688.html
2. Download the Nymgo application.
3. Once it is downloaded, right click on the Nymgo icon that you will find on your task bar.
4. Go to 'Settings' and under 'Network' click on the 'Force Firewall Bypass' check box.

Are you having audio issues using the Nymgo PC dialer?
In order to configure your audio device, please follow these steps:
1. Right click on the Nymgo icon that you will find in the task bar.
2. Go to 'Settings'
3. Click on 'Nymgo Sounds' and there you can check the Microphone and Speakers level.
4. You can test and adjust them in order to find the best audio configuration.
Are you using a firewall?
Some firewalls block the Nymgo dialer's access to the internet. To resolve this issue, please either deactivate your firewall or make sure that it is configured to allow Nymgo to access the network.
Which Nymgo version am I using?
To find out which Nymgo version you are using, just right click on the Nymgo icon and choose 'About Nymgo'. Are you using the latest version of Nymgo? Upgrading you Nymgo version may fixes multiple issues.
Is your Nymgo dialer crashing?
In order to fix this issue, you need to go to:
C:/Users (your windows user name)/AppData/Roaming/Nymgo20120502-115733-99-123.dmp.

Are you calls getting disconnected?
In order to fix this issue, please make sure that you are using the latest Nymgo dialer version. If you have the latest Nymgo dialer version and the calls are still getting disconnected, please go to:
My computer --> control panel --> folder options --> "view" tab --> under "hidden files and folders" check "show hidden files and folders".
Click the start menu --> click on run --> then copy and paste the below in the empty space and press enter:
C:\Users\"your windows user name"\AppData\Local\Nymgo : nymgo-api.log.DATETIME-PID

In the folder that opens, please attach the file named Nymgo (it's a text document).

What is the Virtual Private Network (VPN)?
The Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows you to have access to a network from a remote distance. Nymgo's VPN improves the level of security of your connection and allows you to make calls from otherwise inaccessible locations.
How can I benefit from the VPN access?
With every purchase of $20 or more of Nymgo credits, you will be entitled to benefiting from Nymgo's VPN access for a duration period of 30 days starting the date of activation of your voucher (not cumulative).
How do I activate Nymgo's VPN service on my account?
To activate Nymgo's VPN, please log in to your account, proceed to your member's dashboard, click the "Activate VPN" button and enter your code. This will grant you access to Nymgo's VPN servers.
Please follow the configuration instructions associated with the platform you are using to connect to Nymgo's VPN.
How can I install the VPN on my Windows PC?
Windows7:
Please make sure you have activated Nymgo's VPN service (found above) before you proceed to this step.
Step 1 Click on the Start button. In the search bar, type VPN and then select Set up a virtual private network (VPN) connection.
Step 2 For the "Internet address" text box, type this IP address "87.236.147.13".
For the "Destination name" text box, type a name for the connection. Exp: "Nymgo VPN connection"
Step 3 If you want to set up the connection, but not connect, select Don't connect now; otherwise, leave it blank and click Next.
Step 4 On this next screen, put your user name and password. Click Connect.
Step 5 To connect, click on the Windows network logo on the lower-right part of your screen; then select Connect under VPN Connection.
Step 6 In the Connect VPN Connection box, enter the appropriate domain and your log-in credentials; then click Connect.
Windows XP:
Please make sure you have activated Nymgo's VPN service (found above) before you proceed to this step.
Step 1 On the computer that is running Windows XP, confirm that the connection to the Internet is correctly configured.
Step 2 Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Step 3 In Control Panel, double click Network Connections.
Step 4 Click Create a new connection in the Network Tasks task pad.
Step 5 In the Network Connection Wizard, click Next.
Step 6 Click Connect to the network at my workplace, and then click Next.
Step 7 Click Virtual Private Network connection, and then click Next.
Step 8 If you are prompted, you need to select whether you will use a dial up connection or if you have a dedicated connection to the Internet either via Cable, DSL, T1, Satellite, etc. Click Next.
Step 9 Type a host name, IP or any other description you would like to appear in the Network Connections area. You can change this later if you want. Click Next.
Step 10 Type the host name or the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer that you want to connect to, and then click Next.
Step 11 You may be asked if you want to use a Smart Card or not (Press on do not use my Smart Card).
Step 12 You are just about done, the rest of the screens just verify your connection, click Next.
Step 13 Click to select the Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop check box if you want one, if not, then leave it unchecked and click finish.
Step 14 You are now done making your connection, but by default, it may try to connect. You can either try the connection now if you know its valid, if not, then just close it down for now.
Windows Vista:
Please make sure you have activated Nymgo's VPN service (found above) before you proceed to this step.
Click Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center and select Set up a connection or network, and then click Connect to a workplace. Press Next.
A dialog window will display asking you "How do you want to connect?" When it does, select "Use my Internet connection (VPN).
You will now be presented with a screen titled "Type the Internet address to connect to." Type the WAN IP address into the field named Internet address. Next, enter the Destination name. This could be anything descriptive (i.e., VPN Connection). Finally, check the option Don't connect now; just set it up so I can connect later. Press Next to continue.
The next screen asks you to enter your user name and password. Filling it in lets you log in faster, but it's less secure. Leaving it blank means entering your info every time you want to connect to the VPN, which is more secure. I recommend that you leave it blank. Press Create when ready to proceed. Then press Close.
With that complete, click Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center and select Manage network connections from the Tasks Pane on the left.
Now right-click on the VPN connection you just created and select Properties.
Go to the Security tab, select the Advanced (custom settings) and press Settings.
Set the Data encryption field for "Maximum strength encryption (discount if server declines)".
Where it says "Allow these protocols" check only "Microsoft CHAP Version 2 (MS-CHAP v2). Click OK.
Congratulations! You have just completed configuring your VPN Client and should now be ready to connect to your VPN Host.

Tiger version:
Please make sure you have activated Nymgo's VPN service (found above) before you proceed to this step.
Click on Go in the Finder menu and select Applications
Select Internet Connect from the Applications window
From this window click on the VPN (PPTP) button
In the description field, replace the text with Aber VPN.
In the server address box enter your vpn address
In the Account name box enter your username
In the Password box enter your password
Click OK
Click Connect
Once you are connected it will say in the bottom left corner "connected". Now you can close this window if you wish.
